Country music sensation Hunter Hayes is not just another cute male singer, but also a very talented young artist who not only co-wrote every song on his debut album but he played every note of every instrument (24 instruments) and co-produced the album with Dann Huff. Wow! He is only 21.
While most people love his number one single “Wanted”, I always liked the ballad “If You Told Me To.” To me, this song presents multiple sides to Hunter Hayes as a musician and artist. The song feels like mainstream country with interesting Keith Urban-like guitar intersections. It’s very soulful and calming.
Hunter is currently touring and he is coming to Nashville in October. I hope I get to see him. Hunter is an amazing performer and a very friendly guy.
